A Premier Jewish community outside of New York.
The Kollel is both a center of high learning and community service. Kollel members spend two portions of their day involved in their own personal growth, and their their evenings are dedicated to learning one-on-one with community members and providing shiurim on every level. The Kollel is also involved in many aspects of community building and enhancement.
Bridgeport is only one hour away from Manhattan and Monsey. This great location, coupled with the fact that houses are so affordable makes Bridgeport a perfect place for you and your family.
The Jewish community of Bridgeport prides itself on community warmth, and the Kollel is a key ingredient to bringing the community together. Whether through a communal Chanukah party, or through arranging lectures and chavrusas, the Kollel is always involved in community building.
The Mikvah was renovated only a few years ago and designed to provide maximum comfort for the communities of Bridgeport and Fairfield. Both communities are commited to maintaining this beautiful Mikvah.
Our Community is surrounded by two overlapping eruvs. The first is under the guidance of Rabbi Yaakov Mendelson, and is checked weekly by the Kollel members. The Fairfield eruv is currently under an improvement phase under the guidance of Rabbi Elchonen and Rabbi Shlomo Pepper.
